Early Life

Nazo Ekezie was born on December 22 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ekezie in Anambra, a South Eastern state in Nigeria. Her parents raised her and gave her the best education they could afford.

Acting her has always been her thing since her childhood days. She picked interest in arts as a very young girl and was promising among her mates. Chinazo was fond of her mother Eucharia Ekezie. 

Growing up in the Eastern part of Nigeria, she mixed up with many Igbo personalities. She belongs to the Igbo ethnic group.

Education

Nazo Ekezie studied at Federal Government Girls College, Lejja. After she sat and passed her Senior Certificate Examinations, she attended Ebonyi State University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Linguistics.

Career

Miss Ekezie started acting at a very young age. She would be part of stage plays with children her age. The Nollywood actress started professional acting during her days in Secondary School in 2010.

Nazo was featured in the Uche Nancy production titled Thanks for Coming. The role became her big break in the Nollywood industry. 

After 8 years, she produced her first movie title Flawed. It was shot at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos with a production fee of ten million naira. She was the recipient of the Best Upcoming Actress of the Year (English) at City People Movie Award.

Nazo has also featured in other popular movies like Assassins, and Bridal Shower, among others. She is the Chief Executive officer of Unoaku Production Company.

In an interview, she disclosed her disappointment with A-list actresses in the movie industry describing them as ‘scary and jealous on set.
